When Amos Lehigh published 1000 copies of the first issue of Bible Helps, could he have imagined that 75 years later, Bible Helps would have distributed hundreds of millions of tracts and booklets to over 85 countries around the globe? Since 1950, the impact of Bible Helps has grown steadily through the sacrifices and generosity of many people.
Many of those whose vision and dedication enabled Bible Helps to grow have passed on to their eternal reward. Amos Lehigh devoted lunch breaks and evenings to this ministry before accepting full-time work at Bible Helps. Harold Martin wrote articles in his spare time before taking early retirement to devote more time to writing. Many others have served on the board, volunteered at the shop, given financially, or shared booklets and tracts with others who could benefit from them.
While we praise God for what He has done, we anticipate what He will do in the coming years. New generations now have the opportunity to carry on the vision for Bible Helps. The world today is awash with false ideas. The need for teaching anchored in the truth of God’s Word is as great as ever. Our desire is to provide biblical literature that is theologically conservative and that emphasizes living as a disciple of Jesus. Our goal is to make Christ known because we are convinced that the message of Jesus Christ is still what the world needs most.
Please pray that God would give wisdom to the board and staff and that our labors would bear fruit for His glory. Thank you for your interest and support!
